This policy explains what personal information AI Stock Tip collects through aistocktip.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. AI Stock Tip is a service of Piccadilly Capital Group Ltd., Office 66, 101 Clapham High Street, London SW4 7TB, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”).
What we collect
- When you sign up: your email address, which form you used, the page you were on, the time you signed up, and the exact consent wording you agreed to.
- If you choose to answer the follow-up questions: the sectors you trade, whether you trade in Canada or the U.S., and your mobile number. We only text you if you tick the box agreeing to text alerts, and we record the wording you agreed to.
- Automatically: like any website, our host receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies on this site.
How we use it
- To send you the weekly AI Stock Tip email and, if you opted in, text alerts.
- To tailor what we send based on the interests you choose.
- To keep a record of your consent, as anti-spam laws such as Canada’s CASL require.
- To show a short note on our homepage that someone recently joined. This only ever shows how long ago it was and, at most, “Canada” or “the U.S.”. It never shows your email, name or number.
We don’t sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We use a few service providers to run the site and send email. They process your information on our behalf:
- Google (Google Sheets and Apps Script), where signups are stored.
- Constant Contact, which sends our emails.
- Netlify, which hosts this website.
- YouTube, when you choose to play one of our videos on this site. Videos load from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain and only once you press play.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this site.
These providers may store information in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom or elsewhere. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or merger of the business.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you’re subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop sending to you, and we keep a record of your signup, consent and unsubscribe for as long as we need it to show we followed the law.
Your choices and rights
Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any text. Depending on where you live (for example Canada, the UK or EU, or certain U.S. states such as California or Virginia), you may also have the right to see the information we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. To do any of these, email [email protected]. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to your local data protection authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Children
AI Stock Tip is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has signed up, email us and we’ll delete their information.
Keeping it safe
We limit access to subscriber information to the people who need it to run the service, and we rely on the security measures of the providers listed above. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we’ll tell subscribers by email.
